Taking Control: Career Tips for People with Disabilities
The Disability Community has always been woefully under-employed, with little change following the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. Job discrimination for people with disabilities remains extremely high—as much as 75 per cent and just 50.6% of college graduates with disabilities are employed. Thus, the bigger job of educating the business world falls to a smaller minority of workers with disabilities. That in itself, is a full-time job.
