U.S. Tech Act Programs
(Funded by the U.S. Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals
with Disabilities Act of 1988 and Amendments of 1994 [PL-103-28].)
Almost all states in the U.S., the District of Columbia, Guam, the
Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa, have a Tech Act program.
Tech Act programs advise people with disabilities and their care-givers
on all aspects of assistive technology, including funding. Call
RESNA at (703) 524-6686 (V/TDD) or visit www.resna.org on the Web
for a list of state Tech Act program locations, phone numbers, and
general information.
