Disney World

Most attractions, restaurants, shops and shows are accessible to all guests, though, historically, amusement park rides are not. However, at Disney World, wheelchair users who can make unassisted lateral transfers can experience the fun of Test Track, one of the first thrill rides at Epcot Center. There are even separate loading and practice areas, partially concealed to provide privacy. For all of Disney's parks and resorts, see Information for Guests with Disabilities: http://disney.go.com/vacations/websites/disabilities/index.html

Accessible rooms at Disney are available throughout the resort. There is an impressive array of features, including roll-in showers, shower benches, lowered beds, portable commodes, lowered kitchen appliances, closed-captioned television sets, strobe-light smoke detectors, and TTY phones. For assistance and information specific to individual hotels, please call (407) 939-7807 or (407) 939-7670 (TTY).
